Summer Update

It’s been 4 months since my last post. A very busy yet fun 4 months. The spring semester has passed by as quickly as it sneaked upon us. And now with students at home for the summer, the valley will be quiet for a little while with short term mission teams salt and peppered on our schedule.

My exceeding project list for CCBC Mexico has been hefty. After nearly 200 hours of design and translation we launched our new website that I’ve been developing since returning in February. The new website will provide clarity to online visitors with a clean design and organized concept for easy access to forms and applications to prospective students. You can see it for yourself!

Further projects this summer include the development of an app for our campus that will help staff and students stay connected and aware as events, schedules and information are in constant motion. As well as design for next semester’s posters, brochures, and banners. In addition we’ll also be working together to redesign our online school, to provide high quality video of classes and an interactive page layout which is available to Spanish speaking students.

It’s amazing to see God use CCBC Mexico. Our vision statement is to be “a place where believers are rooted deeply in God’s word and raised up by Him to reach the World for Christ.” It’s more than something we hope to see. Our campus has become such a place.

With over 90 graduates to date and several pastors throughout Mexico, God is training and using individuals for His Glory. It’s amazing to see the Lord give a hunger for His word to students who previously had none. For students to encounter healing from their past as God uses discipleship groups that meet every week together. For students to serve leading worship on Sundays at a local church that’s now pastored by a former graduate of CCBC Mexico.

God is at WORK!

1. My projects during the summer.

2. The short term mission teams that will be serving throughout the summer.

3. 1 staff member who is serving at YUGO ministries leading discipleship for youth.

4. Our Directors as they travel sharing what God is doing at CCBC Mexico.

5. 1 staff member who currently is battling physical complications and is in the states for the next month if not more.

6. Provision for our building projects. We only build when God provides the funds!

7. Rest and joy for myself and fellow missionaries away from home.

8. Several students and church members from Horizonte will be traveling to Nicaragua on a mission trip this summer. Pray for provision and doors to be opened to share the gospel.

9. Pray for opportunities for staff and students to share the Gospel with anyone we come in contact with here on the Baja. Specifically for boldness.
