About

Hello, and thanks for checking out my site! In this section I'd like to share with you a little bit about myself. Some of you may know me and some of you I may not have had the pleasure of meeting yet. After having a look around, head over to the Let's Talk tab. I'd love to chat about everything that Jesus is doing here in Mexico.

Austin serves under Anaheim, CA based Mission Organization, GO! Ministries. Our mission is to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For more information about GO! Ministries check the link under the Ministries tab.

Serving at CCBC Mexico

My name is Austin Bodiford. I was born and raised in Navarre, Florida. The Lord saved me after hearing the Gospel at the age of 15 and shortly after I began attending Coastline Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze where other mature men in the faith began to disciple me. Since then I've worked within Coastline Calvary Chapel under building/grounds and student ministry in their two church locations over the last 12 years.

I first felt the Lord’s calling to be a missionary after a 2-week mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico in the summer of 2005. I then returned yearly over the next ten years to Horizonte Church of Baja California where our mission teams worked construction at their growing Bible College and evangelized in local parks and beach locations.

In 2015, I was sent by Coastline Destin to CCBC Mexico as a missionary where I joined the staff as a full time social media coordinator. CCBC Mexico is an affiliate campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College that is located in Murrieta, California. My responsibilities include website design for both English and Spanish sites, maintaining social media accounts, writing monthly newsletters, teaching chapel devotionals, conducting interviews and filming mission teams, producing the college’s annual magazine and maintaining the creative department development.

CCBC Mexico is located on the coast of Baja California in the Arroyo del Carmen Valley just outside Ensenada. Students have a unique experience at its rustic campus to hear from and learn more about God in a safe environment. Those that attend have the opportunity to learn in either English or Spanish, as all classes are bilingual. In addition to deepening their understanding of the Word of God, students are involved in practical ministry. Opportunities vary from evangelistic outreach in the city to serving at Casa Horizonte (affiliated special needs home located on site). As a growing affiliate campus since 2008, they have seen a ton of growth on its 20-acre campus, both in number of students and it’s capacity for classroom space and housing. CCBC Mexico has big dreams and a vision from the Lord. There are blueprints drawn to continue building for an 800-student campus in the future. There is a strategic plan to have an extension campus in every state throughout Mexico. It’s exciting to see what the Lord is doing at this rustic bible college where believers are rooted in God’s Word and raised up by Him to reach the world for Christ!
